Product Review: Streamlight Stinger LED

The Streamlight Stinger LED flashlight is an outstandingly bright handheld light. The 18,000 candela Stinger will have your buddies turning off their dim headlamps and following you. The stinger piggyback charging system is a very convenient feature, just pop the light in the charging base and it's done. Another nice feature of this flashlight is the ability to switch light modes. There are three different beam intensity selections and even one strobe light mode in this light. The beam intensity selection is handy because this allows you to save battery life.  A few of the drawbacks of this streamlight are price, waterproofing, and battery life. This is a super bright light, but for over $150, I would at least like to know that it's waterproof. Even without being waterproof, the streamlight's aluminum body is lightweight and durable. This is a great high end flashlight, but it may not be suited for the weekend warrior on a budget.
